NPF Field Development conference

Cecilie Sælen was present at the NPF Field Development conference in Bergen this week:
- Statoil, Lundin, DEA and VNG presented several new subsea fields in DG1, DG2 and in DG3 phase, to start production in 2019-2021
o Concepts are re-evaluated many times to simplify and cut cost down to make value in the projects balanced up against todays requirements for break even price
- The service companies joins forces and becomes bigger and bigger and wants to come in earlier in the projects and cover all phases and contracts called iEPCI (ingerated EPCI); TechnipFMC, One Subsea (Schlumberger, Subsea7 and Cameron), AkerSolutions.
o News from Cameron, part of One Subsea, is that they move their XT production from UK to Bergen!
- Norsk Olje&Gass presented their publication “Mot bedre tider / Better times ahead”

o Investment fall on NCS is getting close to the bottom and investments are expected to increase again after 2018
